Personal Testimony

I think God has been very kind to me during this whole job application process. No..I haven't got a job yet..and I'm not sure when and where I'll get one. But it's best I give thanks while I can do it sincerely.

See, I bumbled BIG time when I went for a job interview conducted by this guy from NZAS- NZ Aluminium SMELTER. ....BUT in my CV he had in front of him..I had put NZ Aluminium STEEL. He pointed it out during the interview...I was SURE then I was gonna be in the reject pile....

Guess what...he recommended me.

See, I applied for this company ages ago...I heard several of my friends were being interviewed and I was just plain MAD cos the company didnt even have the courtesy to send me a rejection letter/email. I emailed them (politely of course) asking what happenned to my application.

Guess what....my email was replied the day after and I was asked to go in for an interview.
Guess, what...I'm going for a 2nd interview.

See, before an interview, I brought my cover letter with me. Just 5 mins before the interview,I said a little prayer, and a voice in me told me to reread my letter (I almost NEVER do this, I'm so sure it was the Holy Spirit)

Guess what...HUGE grammar error..actually...a whole word was missing from the sentence...this is the actual sentence"bla bla..I behind this initiative" Yes..I behind....its something Tarzan would have used..I tarzan..you jane....
SO what did I do? I dumped the whole thing...went in for the interview..hoped for the best....and well...this story ties in to the one above it..cos this is the 1st interview which lead me to the 2nd.

Yea...all in all..rejection letters are dissapointing...but hey..I'm still young...and with the Big Guy up there...I shouldnt be too fussed. I'm doing what I can and He knows that.
