Why Do We Blog?

Ahh..the age old question. Be thankful I have discovered the answer! ...Ok..it's not a discovery, merely...a hypothesis.
The way I see it, GENERALLY, people blog because they may
1. Have a stand about something (religion, politics, etc)
2. Use it as a method of diarising their thoughts
3. Complain, rant, shout obscenities
4. Put up pictures for sharing
5. Have too much time on their hands

Yea...so there you have it! Could this be the first post in a blog to describe blogging? I doubt it, people in the last category may have a post like this way before mine.

taUUUUUrangaHHH!

I'm sure that's how it isn't said. It just sounds so...cool...heh. Anyways...all websites say its 2.5 hours drive from Auckland. It's a L I E! The roads are freakishly bad with lousy signage..hence prepare to take up to 3 hours to get there.
Where did we pass? Heh..Paeroa...home of the famous L n P fizzy drink...locally brewed and 'World Famous' although I havent seen it in Malaysia. We collected some lemons though and I was so hoping they had a fountain of L n P gushing out from somewhere.
The drive itself was erm...very...'New Zealand' if I could give it a term. This time with less sheep, more grass, more grass and more grass. No where much to stop by except this beach called Waihi, a name I'll remember since I had a short history teacher who's name was Wahi...
ANYWAYS....highlights highlights...the main thing about this trip? Being ASIAN!

Yes..we walked through someone's lawn to get to Waihi beach (at that time thinking it was for public access)
Yes..we used a supermarket coupon and fitted 4 people into a room meant for 2.
Yes..we made so much noise by drinking cheap wine and playing this sadistic game where you get spanked if you lose that a hotel staff was sent to ask us to shut up.
Yes..we contemplated bringing a tupper ware into an all you can eat buffet for packing up lunch for the next day.
It was greaaaat! And I'd do it all over again. Only this time, I'd make sure Kenneth farts less. :) :)
