'It's Friday, but Sunday's coming!'

I found this lil' article in a local paper. I read it yesterday, but throughout the whole Easter mass today, it kept ringing in my head.
The sermon is from a guy called Tony Campolo.

.."I don't know why health suddenly fails, marriages split up, children break parental hearts, careers are destroyed, jobs lost. I don't understand why these things happened to the best and most conscientious believers. But Jesus understands our Fridays. He's been there. He's been there with us on the cross.
I don't understand Fridays. But this I do know: because God raised up Jesus from the grave, Fridays do not last forever. Sunday's coming!"

I watched The Passion again. It didn't hit me so hard the first time I watched it. I guess it's because this time, I had my own cross to carry, maybe that's why I related better to the movie. And I guess, after realising that God didn't create us to watch us suffer in life, it gives you hope, that when you're down, you will be raised up. And maybe its because of your disobedience to God that you fell in the first place, God doesn't smirk or laugh when you fall I'm sure. God isn't happy when I'm hurt badly. But I guess, it's the only way I'll learn. I seem to think of Him less when everything's all fine and dandy.Next time, next time when things are good for me, I'll be more appreciative....more thankful.
