Jury Duty
Ever been a juror? Its not a pleasant experience. The moment I tell my friends..the response is a quick "Write a letter and say you have projects / uni / work "
I didn't because I was curious to see how the process would be like, and doubtful I'd be selected since the names for the 12 jurors would be taken by ballot, AND the lawyer had the right to reject you from the panel. But..guess what, I got in..lol...I was dressed so scrapily, when I sat down in the jury stand, I was waiting for the lawyers who were eyeing me to say "REJECT!" Meh...
The case was quite...'unnerving' and very 'disturbing'. The 3 day trial really takes its toll on you. Someone's life is in your hands. Opinions from other people would change. I dunno wat else to say. I think this post can only serve as a simple reference to a moment in my life in which I was judging fact from fiction. if only I could tell about what went through my mind when I was deciding.
