Restaurant Review

OK...I have to give my 2 pence about this .."Prestigous" Restaurant. The list of SOME the awards it received so far is as follows:

Finally, I'll say what I wanna say. The food was TERRIFIC. No doubt about it. The price was a bit steep...but that's OK. I mean, I'm out with my special someone, it's not an everyday thing..besides..if I owned a restaurant with that many awards..LOL...I'd charge those rates as well. The main focus of my 'review'...now that I think about it..its more like a critique.....was the attitude of this one waitress. She was...unappealing. I mean..no smile, no friendliness...I didn't feel welcome. Hey, my bill is covering your wage, the least you could do is make me feel like it's worth it. The second thing I'd like to comment on..was the utter simplicity of this 'cafe'. Gee.....I've been to mamak restaurants with more 'soul' / ambience. The layout was TOO simple. Maybe it's their 'thing'. But..it's not my taste. Kinda makes me feel like they skimped on the decor. I suppose I'm writing all these now cos I went to Mecca in the city. I thought it was WAY better than French Cafe. It was better in terms of price, ambience, waiter friendliness...so yea..go there!
